Oral traditionalist and artist, Hoksila Lakota, was inspired to create this one-off original piece to illustrate what it is to live in balance with all things.  The cougar sits at the center of the medicine wheel, representing how through being quiet and observant, and walk softly, ever mindful of where it treads and the trial it leaves behind.

This is a metaphor for how when we make the right choices and live our lives in balance, the legacy and footsteps we leave behind, will be of a higher order.
